Olive & Sage Sourdough Stuffing

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb sourdough bread
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 packs Freestyle Snacks Green Olives, chopped
  • 1.5 tbsp chopped fresh sage (about 20 leaves)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2.5 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

HOW TO FREESTYLE IT

  1. Tear sourdough into pieces, toast at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  2. Sauté onion in 3 tbsp olive oil or butter for 10 minutes, then add olives and cook for 5 more minutes. Stir in sage, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix broth and eggs in a bowl, then combine with the bread and onion mixture.
  4. Coat a 9x13 pan with melted butter, add stuffing, and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  5. Optional: drizzle with melted butter and flaky salt before serving.
